[ Greg feels that it's nothing but appropriate to put his feelings into precise words on the rare occasions when he can find the right ones to express how he's feeling. They might both be dead, but he doesn't feel that when Gabriel is pressed up against him like this, when their mouths meet and when they're tangled up in bed together. It makes him feel alive, and in the very best way. Honestly, even the stressful moments with Gabriel still make him... feel, so intensely that it's easy to forget that he's in Hell for a few moments.
He'll lean into that deeper kiss with just as much loving affection. Unlike with some people that he's been intimate with in the past, even people he's cared very deeply for, he never feels as if he needs to hold any of that back with Gabriel. Yes, he can be so very much the old romantic, even to the point of being cliche, but it seems to all be new and wonderful to Gabriel. He takes all of it so happily, and it just makes Greg happier to give it to him. He doesn't have to bend over backwards to come up with new and inventive gestures to hold Gabriel's attention when the simplest, heartfelt things mean so much.
That's not to say that he doesn't like going to extra effort now and again. The date night that he more or less surprised Gabriel with recently went over very well with both of them.
He seems to share Gabriel's intrinsic desire to remain close. His hands have reluctantly slipped from Gabriel's hair only to slide down, settling on his hips to pull those even closer. He can't be bothered to pretend that he doesn't want this, more of this, right now. Obviously there's work, but not so much that he can't catch up with it later. And if there's ever been a good day to call it early, this would be it. Any day that he has to deal with Brimstone is already one of 'those' days by default. ]
